You’d think I’d be close to running out of things to go wrong this last week, but you were mistaken. And it’s only Tuesday... Oops, Wednesday.

I don’t suppose it’s electric and you can just replace the heating elements?

Well your first problem is that you’re in the wrong day.

Just think of all the water you’ll conserve. Greenest car guy in town, I’ll tell you what...

It is electric. I’ll be checking the elements Friday.

Fingers crossed. We replaced our gas one a couple of years ago and it was a major pain even with a friend of mine doing the gas line (he’s licensed).

Hey, look on the bright side, it lasts longer than most guys in bed...

Sounds like you need to visit a brewery or five

Had that happen recently. Except my tank sprung a leak.

Did that fix anything?

Could be worse.

Skully is disappointed in your water heater too.

Was your water heater tucked away somewhere hard to get at? I replaced mine last year and it was pretty easy all things considered, but i have easy access to mine.

It’s right in with the furnace and laundry stuff so it’s not the easiest thing to get to and then draining it was a pain due to how the drain was positioned. Getting the old one out was the biggest issue. Putting the new one in wasn’t a huge deal.

elements are cheap and easy to replace. should be available and stock at most home improvement stores.
